[Not A Review] The Attempted Band: Doura Picchi EP
Two albums and several back-to-back singles later, The Attempted Band has returned with their newest EP, 'Doura Picchi'. A collection of three songs; this new project by the band follows a theme that made their last album 'Agoon O Moushumi' stand out—expert storytelling weaved through music. The EP was released globally across streaming platforms on 28th February 2021, through Mothership Records. 'Doura Picchi' features two new tracks by the band and a cover of one of West Bengali band Chandrobindoo's songs. Opening with Molecule Khondokar, they tell the tale of the titular character Molecule; a middle-aged scientist, and his journey in life--and into space. The second feature carries the title of the EP, ‘Doura Picchi’; painting a picture of love, loss, and separation. The song was released with an animated music video, post-EP release.
